Opened in 2016, Playcare Daycare and Out of School Care is a family owned and operated centre where we strive to ensure that all who join us feel at home and part of our family. We are proud to create an environment that is warm and welcoming, designed with our children at the heart. Each room boasts natural light with large windows, high ceilings, and lots of space to play! With comfort and care always in mind, we provide a safe, supervised environment for all children to grow, play, and have fun.
Our Educators
Our team of educators are carefully chosen, highly qualified, and are dedicated to our children and their families. We take our time ensuring that not only do our educators have the best qualifications but also the right qualities. We understand the importance of providing your child with consistent care, building positive relationships with them and their families. As educators, we are committed to providing nurturing care that supports and encourages our children natural exploration and learning.
Parent Communication
At Playcare Daycare and O.S.C. we are committed to working with families to build strong and positive relationships. We provide a variety of opportunities to ensure effective communication between you and our educators. Playcare Daycare uses Sandbox software to simplify parent engagement. It is an easy-to-use app that allows educators to track and share activities throughout the day, along with photos and daily reports. It is a streamlined program to keep parents connected and informed, never missing a moment of their child’s day.
Family Engagement
Family involvement, communication, and feedback is encouraged and welcome at our centre. Parents/ guardians are welcome to participate in our program whenever possible. There is a wide range of possibilities from joining us for story time, tapping into your creative side with art, having an adventure with us on a field trip, or even becoming a member of our parent board. Families are also welcomed to join us for the many special events that are hosted at Playcare Daycare and OSC throughout the year.
Fees
We offer a variety of full time and part time programs at our facilities. Our childcare fees are flexible and vary depending on the age of your child and the number of days care is needed.

Tasty Eats
At Playcare Daycare, we understand that a healthy body is necessary for the growing development of children. Our on-site chef prepares healthy hot lunches and two snacks daily, following the Canada Food Guide, ensuring that they are both nutritious and delicious!
